I'd be grateful for some help in tracing the whereabouts of my great-great aunt Amelia 'Minnie' Edwards between 1882 and 1915. I was under the impression that she was born on 15/3/1882 in Bradford, Yorkshire, but I can't find any evidence for this. She appears in the census records for 1891 and 1901, living in Bradford with her parents Albert and Mary Jane Edwards, but after that I can't find anything until 1915, when she married Harold Dilke in Ontario, Canada. |

Her father died in 1926 - I don't know if her mother was still alive in 1911. |

Could be her mother's first marriage: |

Thanks, everyone! I was aware of Mary Jane Wray's marriage to Samuel Berry but it never occurred to me that Amelia could have been his daughter. |

Julia, it's possible that Samuel wasn't her father - the column for father's name is blank on the baptism record. |

Looking at the 1914 passenger list that Mike posted - that Amelia Edwards was the wife of a Fred Edwards and certainly wasn't a "Rev", that was the man on the line below but it's got muddled in transcription. |

The plot thickens! I wonder what happened to Amelia's family between 1901 and 1911 - the only two members I can identify in 1911 are Amelia's half-sisters Margaret and Sarah Elizabeth, who were living in Bradford with their uncle Benjamin Baxter. |
