No sign of Jessie on censuses prior to 1871.......are you sure that Crombie was her maiden name?

She was comparatively old to be marrying for the first time in 1865

Note the STEPSON in 1871.....and the two other children born before the marriage

ok i have found david with his parents david and jean begbie(Mcgregor) but nothing on jessie on familysearch.org

This is a re-hashed request..........stephanie posted in 2008 and was advised then to get the marriage cert..............

She will remain a mystery until you buy either her marriage or death certificate from Scotlandspeople Stephanie. Surely worth spending the £7 to look at both?

Have looked at the marriage registration. She gives her age as 37. Father William Crombie a Wtright Journeyman was deceased so too was her mother Janet Crombie maiden surname Crawford.
