Frank and Joseph Eames departed London for Australia 7/9/1912 on board The Ballarat. Franks wife and children followed 20/3/1913. Joseph returned to England 5/4/1914. They had 5 Brothers and 2 sister in South Yorkshire. I am trying to locate their family in Australia.
Philip Eames grandson of brother Iram.

Do you have some names for us to work with please? As a starting point in the Australian search, do you have any idea where they originally settled?

So.............unless someone can come up with further records, you seem to be limited to Robert and Ronald Eames the sons of Ivan and Myrtle.
There are 2 listings on the Australian White pages under R Eames in Victoria. A letter might get an answer.
http://www.whitepages.com.au
If you were to contact the Ask a Librarian service for Victoria, they 'might' be willing to tell you what the R stands for from the current ER. You'd need to give them the address
http://www.slv.vic.gov.au/services/ask-librarian
If you were to contact the cemetery where Myrtle and Ivor are buried, they may be willing to tell you the name of the person who arranged the burial. However, they won't give you an address

Hi The information you have given is most interesting. I remember my Grandmother recieving a letter from Australia telling her of Franks death and 1954 seems about right I would have been about 12. Sometime around 2001 someone came to Whiston looking for Eames and found Alvans home but he had just died and his widow didnt understand so they left without making contact with us. Philip

Glad you eventually found your way back Philip
Unless Cherilyn (one of GR's experts in Australian research) comes up with a better idea, it might be worth following the suggestions given in my post 26 Sep 2013 11:43
Now that you have some more names to work with, add the deceased ones to your tree, and search other members trees. One of their descendents might have taken up FH as a hobby.
If you were to contact Ballarat Cemetery, they might give you the name of who ever arranged Joyce Ivra's funeral. A sympathetic funeral director might pass on a message/letter to the last know address for that person
You could do the same for Buninyong Cemetery where Ivan was buried in 2008
