Trying to find date & place of death of James Edwin Francis, James was born around 1896 if his marriage certificate gives his correct age, he married Lucy Ann Wright (daughter of Mary Ann Spizer & John Wright ) on the 29th December 1917 in Calverton Nottinghamshire Lucy & James were both aged 21years Lucy was born in Calverton Don't know where James was born can't find birth certificate, both fathers were bricklayers. Lucy already had a daughter Charlotte Wright born 1915 Lucy had a son James (Jim) born around 1919 ? but Jim was also named Wright why knowbody knows, Charlotte's father is not named on birth certificate we cannot understand where James Edwin Francis went they married in 1917 but Lucy was once again using her maiden name in 1919 when son James ( Jim) was born ) Was James Edwin Francis killed in WW1? & why did Lucy Ann revert to her maiden name on son James birth certificate .We always knew her as Lucy Wright James emigrated to New Zeeland in the late 40's early 50s Please can anyone help |

Same family as above in GB's 1901 census , right forenames albeit reversed. Uncle works in building industry. |

Really strange but on 1901 census there is a Violet Francis b 1895 listed as adopted daughter also living in Nottinghamshire |
