I know I have posted about this name before...sorry!... but I desperately need a look up regarding the 1851 census.
Details are; Samuel Constable born c1787 Sedgeley, Staffs. Registration are Dudley

I am looking for his parents and would be most grateful.

Samuel is there aged 64yrs,not sure how you thought his parent's would be with him.

Samuel married Susannah Aston In 1802 at St Thomas Dudley.

Actually - its not a duplicate thread, but 2 people researching the same person.

you will need his baptism to find his parent's.

Martynsue -that is the problem - no one on the other thread has been able to find one.

We tend to forget that

- not everyone was baptised
- not all records are on the internet
- not all have survived
- not all are legible as they have been damaged by mould, damp, insects. creatures etc

Still - no harm looking, eh?

what about the one astra put on further up the thread.

My Samuel was born in Sedgley, Staffs.
Would anyone know if Willenhall would come under Sedgley?
