	HI I am trying to find out if there are any records for my late father in law regarding his national service in 1953 - 1955 ish in the RAF and he was based somewher in Norfolk, his name was Arthur Edward Parkins. are they available on line or through the MOD? Regards Chrissey

	They are not online,still held by the authorities. They can be applied for by the person themselves or NOK which has to be proven See this link it explains http://www.raf.mod.uk/community/support/requestforinformationfromservicerecords.cfm George
