Do you mean the amount of white space Reggie? It is Ancestry - for some reason for the last couple of days it is playing up when copying and pasting - I have been deleting the white space but forgot for these.

Having trouble finding the family before the 1911 and no marriage for Charles and Mary Ann and cannot find an Eric.

It has happened before, Reggie, just after a Windows update and, guess what, just had a Windows update! It sorted itself out last time - hope it will this time!

1911 census says married 23 years, ie in 1887/8 - so maybe a second marriage for one of them? But I can find births in the right years in Greenwich for all the children under Harris!

Don't think that the Harris/Adams marriage is the correct one - the parish record is on Ancestry and Charles's occupation is given as Basket maker - he is an Iron Founder on the census.

If Pauline returns, perhaps she will give us some location info.................and an indication of where she got the birth date, which isn't borne out by any info on the census or freebmd
