I assumed the informant was Ellen's father or brother,( though would it not have " informant grandfather/ uncle" ? ) which is why I find it odd that they were at liberty to divulge the father's name seeing as the child was not being registered in his surname. |

I would say it was almost definitely Hills Fold in 1851 - another version has it transcribed as such |

I've received the death cert today and it is must be the right one as he died at Hills Fold, Sharples, but I can't read the cause of death. |
