The lady married Douglas W Crisell Aug 1937 age 23, she lived with the Tuck family in Enfield area. This I posted in April. Since then I found a father who attended her wedding, named Richard Louis Leduc who is recorded as a waiter. Can you help please. Looking for place of birth and her family connections |

Is your original thread still on the boards as might have been better just to nudge it up and update your request. |

Does she name Richard as her father on the marriage certificate? |

What proof have you that her father attended the wedding please? Or is that just the name that she gives for her father when she married Douglas? |

Was she economical with the truth about her age when she married or did the informant on her death registration get her birth year wrong? |

I have the marriage cert - St George's Enfield 01/08/1937 Edna May Leduc was 7yrs older than her intended, I see no reason for lies. The Tuck family also agree with the birth estimate |

So who registered her death? The date of birth on that seems to be 11 Jan 1907, so in August 1937 she would have been 30 years old? Or did you mean that Douglas was 23 years old when they married? |

A tree on ancestry has this for her. It is unsourced and Violet would have been 12 when she had her if she really was the mother. |

She has been given the middle name of Mabel here. Still with the Tucks. |

There is no connection between the Tuck family and Edna May Leduc. My father in law Ernest Charles Tuck always remembers Edna in the household, she was there until her marriage in 1937, when Ernest was 17yrs old. At that time no one questioned her existence. E C Tuck is now 92yrs old and it's for him that this search is for. |

I've been searching worldwide records and although there are a few Richard Louis Leducs (and variants) none of them could be her father as they were born after her. |
