I know he married in 1912, Bethnal Green, his occupation in 1911 was 'clerk' but that may well have changed...the dates and lace fit. |

My Great-Grandfather, Charles Hector Ling, served in the Great War and lived to tell the tale though suffered shell-shock for the rest of his life, according to my father father who got the tale from 'Little Grand-dad', Charles's son. However, there is no trace of any Charles Ling in the Military Records of Genes Reunited. Is there another way of figuring out where he served or what rank he became and so on? |
