Richard Report 16 Mar 2013 13:58

My wife and I are researching the above character who was born in the Reighton area of Yorkshire. We have traced him on the 1881 and subsequent censuses. We have found his probable grandparents and great grandparents but are stuck with his parents. There were a William and Hannah Scrivener living in the correct area in 1841 and Hannah may have died in 1843 six months or so after Pashby's birth. However Pashby (his christian name appears to be his grandmother's surname) does not appear on a census until he is a grown man.

Can anyone help please?

Richard and Pam
