Reggie - I think Len answered the wrong question & he meant that Thomas's father John was born Yorkshire - Halifax according to the census |

Born Halifax/Denholme/west Yorkshire - who knows he changes his mind with every census. I just can't find him as a carpenter/joiner prior to 1861 - all the ones I can find are something to do with weaving so highly unlikely. Or all the John Ogden's I can see in 1851 (married) are still with their wives in 1861. |
