Are you possitive he was born in 1905??? and not 1910

It might be in your best interest to purchase a copy of the marriage certificate to see who it names as William's Father.

Mel........it's William "Sidney" Stretton.

The only sure way to find his parents is to buy the marriage of he and Violet as that will tell you who his father was and his occupation.
