Thanks but am not sure about that one I've just found on ancestry that Innes's mother was a Jane plus with him having a birthdate as 1804 it doesnt seem possible.

And on which part of Ancestry did you find the 'info' about his mother?

The LDS info is 'submitted', as indicated, so may be inaccurate..........

His parents should be named on his death cert.........if he died in Scotland

The mother is Margaret Sutherland, sometimes abbreviated to Suthd.

I don't see Innes in 1861 Caithness - my guess is he died in the 1850s.
If you're lucky, he lasted to 1855, so his death will have a civil registration.
That rego should name his parents.
