When I look on my BVRI discs for Sainsbury births in Wiltshire I get 681 matches!

shirley....i have tryed :) but theres alot of people no longer doing there trees or busy, who knows :)

Ann, my BVRI discs for Sainsbury births in Wiltshire start 1547. Mind you the spelling varies Sansbury/Sainsbury/Saynsbery/Saynsburye etc. Most of the earlier records are in Trowbridge but there's also Westbury, Corsham, Downton etc.

Marriage records start 1575.

ok i have james sainsbury 1765 he married sarah noble we belive his parents are robert 1763 and mary milsum but no paper work to prove the details, also there are two james born in years of each other but diffrent parents, so need to make sure i have right parents and siblins to james, there are 2 of us working the tree, but tony is working the canada line as that his side, mine are all york/wiltshire.

any help would be great as been stuck for months now :(

Sorry, Ann, can't find a birth of Robert that matches datewise. Nothing between one born 1732, Urchfont (too early I think) and one 1752, Bratton (too late because he would only have been 11 when he married).

BVRI is British Vital Records Index, a set of 16 cd's that I purchased many years ago from LDS (Familysearch). They're no longer for sale but I understand that the records are now on Worldwide Ancestry. Much easier to search though on the discs.
