Have you been tuning in to Family Finders, the new series from the BBC that follows the work of professional genealogists – ‘family finders’ – as they track down lost relatives to bring families back together.
In yesterday’s episode, one person searching for their relatives used Genes Reunited to aid them on their journey.
You can watch the episode on BBC’s iPlayer here, and if you skip to around 16:39, you’ll hear how “Genes Reunited played a key part. Many evenings were spent searching for births, marriages, deaths and a lot of information was gathered.”

A great programme only found it today so have been looking at those missed on BBC -i. A little less lead in to the start of the programme would make it less annoying as its so interesting you just want to get into the meat of the interest. :-) :-)

That programme is the reason I've come onto this website, I saw the Frith family episode and I am 99% sure I am related to them or rather my father was.
I would love to contact them... Is there a way I can be put in touch with this family? I don't need to meet them I would just like to trace my father's father and learn about background. :) |
