My grandad Arnold Barton fought in France in WW1 where he was awarded the D.C.M. I have traced all to do with the medal, however the medal has been missing for a very long time. He was given a purse of money and also a wrist watch which assume would not be common in those day. Also of course an illuminated address.

Can anyone advice how I might search for the missing medal. specific sites and so on.
