Find Living Relatives

I am trying to trace Michele, daughter of Jean, on behalf of her cousin Margaret who is the daughter of Michele's mother's sister Barbara. Margaret lives abroad and has tasked me with trying to find Michele.

For our benefit, she was born 1966 in the south of England.

There’s no further record of her on FMP, either for her or her mother. When was Margaret last in contact with this family, and where were they living?
Does she know the name of Michele’s father?

She had an older brother who is easier to trace. Is Margaret already in contact with him?

When did he last have contact with her? Could she have taken another surname, for instance, if their mother remarried?

The only information you’ve given is her name, that she was born, and her mother’s name.
We don’t need minute details as that’s personal, but a general outline would be good.
There doesn’t seem to be further records for Barbara, so what happened to her?

Are either of them likely to have remained in the UK or could they have moved abroad?

Please ask Margaret to be a little more forthcoming.

We can rule out the marriage in Wiltshire as the bride was also born in that county.

Looks like the mother then married a Winter the next year.

She looks to be on recent electoral registers still on the Isle of Wight.

Ancestry links Michele's name to a 1985 marriage in Southampton of a Michael G Winter to a Robertshaw.

I don't know if that is relevant, or if it's just one of Ancestry's random guesses.

192.com shows a Michael G Winter living in Southampton on 2014 ER.
