Find Living Relatives

I .am trying to find a lost cousin Dorothy H Sage age 81.
She is in electoral register for 2007 in Newport Gwent
but not on GRU electoral list after. that date.
Please can anyone tell me If registers are available to
search after 2014.

Yes, ER's are available up to 2018.

However, she may have opted out of the public ER.

Registers would be available to search in person either at the local council offices, or the nearest reference/local studies library.

They are arranged by address rather than surname, so all they could tell you is if the Sage's have moved, or only opted out of the commercial online registers. Its been possible to do that since 2002.

There's a possibility that the co-resident Sidney J died in 2013. If you ordered a copy of his letters of administration, assuming its the same person, it might give a more recent address for Dorothy.

Alternatively, write to The Occupiers at the address, and to the immediate neighbours. They may have information they can share.

If its the correct marriage record, Dorothy's initials were H S. Bearing in mind her age, she wouldn't have had any children with Sidney..... unless neither of them were free or inclined to marry?
Have you tried to trace any children from her previous marriage?

and married sydney j sage in 2004

. She married Sidney Sage in 2004. I didnt Know Sidney had died . I will order
a copy of administration, and try to find Dorothys children. There were two
boys and one girl. I know their names . May be Dorothy is with one of them.

It’s only a possibility that it’s the same Sidney! Death reg after 2006ish aren’t online although they can be searched in person in various parts of the country.

hard to find the children born to marriage there a re a lot of marriages reynold johnson

But the relevant births were in Cardiff within a few years after 1957 - I won't post them here, as too recent.

and think I know the daughter.They were all born close
together and there were only three .I will have a look for them

The daughter may have married a Price in South Glamorgan reg district in 1979 - see FreeBMD., and had three daughters (per FreeBMD ).
One of those daughters was probably living in Ebbw Vale at least until 2014 - see 192.com.

The older Reynolds son probably married in South Glamorgan in 1976

Have you thought of writing to the 2007 address?

It doesn't show on Zoopla or on Rightmove as having been sold

Hello Kind Helpers, thank you for your help and interest.My first job
is to clarify an entry for Sidney J Sage . If he is the same person as the
probate entry, then, , I will write to the last known address of Dorothy in Newport.
I think I have a better chance following up her daughter. I have found an entry
I think may be her (surname Price ) living in Neath West Glamorgan.. Failing
that, I will try the Ebbw Vale person. I will keep you posted. thank you all

I wish to thank the kind people who helped me find my cousin
Dorothy H Sage. I followed up each suggestion from helpers
. Sadly, I found that Dorothy passed away in March 2018.
