Hello looking for some help or advice,I have found information of a living relative and know that he was living in Leicester upto 2014 because of the electoral registers...how do I find out if he is still in the same place?

You could try the phone book - https://www.thephonebook.bt.com

You could try writing to the address and include a SAE

Local council should hold current ER's - if he hasn't 'opted out' then you could try there.

Other folks may have better suggestions.

I don't use it so don't understand the ins and outs, but can he be found on Facebook

Maybe he has opted out

Was he living with any other family . If so look for their names to see if they appear on later electoral rolls

If they show then there is a possibility he may have passed away

Always worth googling the address, it may show up on sites like Zoopla if the property has been sold recently.

So they possibly opted out

Have you tried the btonline phonebook

Other than can only suggest you write to the address and enclose a stamped addressed envelope

2014 is the most up to date electoral register details that Findmypast has online. Google the library nearest to the address in 2014 and ask if they would do an electoral register look up for you if you don't live close enough to visit yourself.

greyghost's (and Shirley's) suggestion is the most logical.

Write to the person, putting your name and address on the back of the envelope - , and enclose an SAE
