Susan Underdown my long lost half sister

I am looking for my elder half sister. She was born in Cheltenham in 1944 (jun 1944 listing in Free BMD) and was called Susan Underdown her mothers maiden name was Webb. Susan was adopted at birth and I have not been able to trace her. Any help would be appreciated.

Well you would need to know her new name to try and find her

Have you looked in members trees to see if anyone has her listed

You could also add a note against her gro record on freebmd giving an email address for contact

Also you could add your details on the National Adoption contact register on www.gro.gov .uk

Its worth reading the rest of that page. It tells you how you can hire an intermediary agency. They have the authority to access her files and attempt to make contact on your behalf. If she agrees, they'll can pass the info on to you.
