I just found my grandpas side of the family but now I'm trying to find my grandmas side. Her name was Anna Gordon White married to George McGowan 1960, they moved to Australia in 1971 with their 3 children. My grandma has a twin brother called John (Jackie) Gordon White. Their birthday is 10th May 1938

Was John Gordon White born in Glasgow? If he was there is another person with him in her tree but hasn't got Anna Gordon White. You could try sending her a message and if she hasn't changed her e mail address she might reply.

Get her birth cert from Scotlands People if it follows the same format as earler birth records it should show the info on her parents marriage too

Springburn is an inner city district of Glasgow.
There was a John G White living in Glasgow listed on the electoral in 2006.

Interestingly Pollok is in an area of Glasgow too

Hi Luke,

It seems that the John Gordon White who married in Pollock in 1959 to Margaret McBride divorced in 1987 in Linlithgow.

Hello again,

There is an Anna White in the Craigton district of Glasgow ( same district that your grandfather George was living ) in 1959 living with a Margaret White and 2 William's,
possibly one of the Williams was a brother to Anna.

Also found a John G White living at Sydney Street , Bridgeton in 1960 with a Margaret White.

Found only 1 William Gordon White birth in 1936 but he was born in St.Andrews district of Edinburgh.

Found only 1 Margaret Gordon White born 1939 in Gorbals district and died 2015 in Glasgow .
