Why not purchase a copy of her birth certificate? It might show if she was adopted.
If that does turn out to be the case, then suggest the birth brother adds his and her details to
https://www.gov.uk/adoption-records/the-adoption-contact-register

She isn't on any trees either under Leary or Harrison. Add her to your own tree just in case she or a relative look for her birth family.

You could add a Post'em message to her birth reg (both entries) on https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl for the same reason. Say something along the lines that birth siblings would welcome contact. Leave a generic email address which won't change even if you swap internet providers. It would also stop your 'normal' email account potentially being clogged with junk mail.

You were born in Gateshead July,August,Sept 1949 named susan .not sure which surname you were brought up with . Possibly adopted or you could of been brought up by family member. You are registered in both surnames above at birth . Parents split up when you were small .I have your mothers maiden name . you have 2 half brothers & 1 brother who has same parents as you do . He would love to have contact with you . If you think or have any info on Susan please contact me .
