Hi all,I have looked at electrol role list now and I see there are others in household ,I am going to seeif I can find them on genesreunited now in trees and if so message them in hope I can trace him,I will let you know how I get on,it was interesting what Nyx put about the S being on the one birth could mean adoption as I would have never known it was the same birth registered 2 years apart on the 1970 and 1972 ,keep you all informed how I progress.
regards Sandra

Did Jonathan have an older brother? Might be a coincidence but someone of that name is also in the Dorset area.

Have you tried tracing his parents?

There is another of the same full name, born about the same time though, so may account for one or more of the marriages.

Sandra, there is another entry same date for a Jonathan Brian mmn White, it would appear to be the same one as the numbers hand written by the entry are the same. Use just the first names and mmn in the freebmd search and it may make sense to you.

It's not always the case that an S by the entry means an adoption, but there is one next to the 1970 entry. This could be adoption by the parent's new partner?

May also be worth looking for a remarriage ( assuming it is his mother ) to see if Jonathan's surname might have been changed.

There are two entries on freebmd.org.uk one 1970 and one is a 'late entry' in 1972,
It would be worth adding a 'postem' message to both entries, with a contact email.
