Hi Linda, are you sure that Conyens W Barrett is a real name? (You can use the Edit function to fix any typos - also wondering about "Sarah Susan barrrs" ...)

When you search trees, be sure not to include middle initials, just in case you were doing that. And allow some leeway on birth dates, +/- 5 years maybe, particularly because some people take birth dates from censuses that are inaccurate.

Ah okay, for our info, familysearch shows in 1881 census

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q279-F8JV

Conyens W Barrett born 1834 St Pancras
spouse: Mary A Barrett
children: Walter H R Barrett, George A G Barrett, Fanny E L Barrett, Ada A Barrett

and Ancestry has the same transcription

but Conyens is really not a name ... I would suspect Conyers maybe.

Linda, do the tree search and find that "Couzens Barretteng" tree entry, then click on "Find out more" next to the tree owner's name, to send a message.

Just search for Barretteng surname to find it, and you'll see the same person also has in their tree:

Mary Barretteng 1857 Highgate London England

It looks like the spelling error was made for the father and then it continued on down the tree.

to make it easy - just go here:

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/tree/results/barretteng?memberkey=0&yearofbirthrange=1

When you click on the tree owner's name, you'll see the name actually shows in the tree as

Couzens BarrettENG

... and she has several dozen people in her tree with her own surname and that ENG suffix ... maybe thinking this would prevent them from being searchable ...

In fact, if you search for 'Smith', the results will be in reverse chronological order for all surnames that start with Smith that meet the other search criteria (John Smithy, John Smithson, John Smithman, etc) which is ordinarily extremely annoying, but was serendipitous in this case.
