Hi Steven, one bit of luck is that there only appears to be the one Brian McCarthy born Liverpool that year. Mother's maiden name Heeley. See freebmd.org.uk for details.

G'day, I'm currently looking for my dad, all I know about him is that he was born in Liverpool in April 1950 and he resides in Europe somewhere. Not much to go on I know but you gotta go on what you got and start somewhere right.
