If he's listed with Pegg, couldn't that be his mother's nickname?

We seem to be at cross purposes - I'd read the OP as it being Allan's obit that had been read. From a PM, the obit was for his father Cuthbert who died Southport 1975.

The Worthing address and details of the marriage have been sent by PM.

The previous thread threw up a Hagen/Pegg marriage in 1979.
However, the Mr Hagen wasn't Allan.

When and where did he die please?

Using the exact spelling and yob on Findmypast, his birth is shown, and also a 1997 marriage to a lady in Worthing. The name wasn't Pegg, Margaret or anything were Pegg could be a nick-name.
He was living in the area until at least 2014.

There is also an ER entry in Scotland (Alan- one L) to 2005. Again, the female on the same ER isn't a Pegg

Is it in his obituary

Mark

My grandmother had a nephew - see above for details. In an obituary he is listed in between commas as being with a person known as Pegg. I cannot find any connection or details apart from the birth details of the above named person.

Many thanks
