For our information, the Rogers/Parr marriage took place Islington 1954.

Have you found death reg for Alfred or Olive or might they still be liiving? If they are both deceased, the informant for the last to die is likely to be one of the daughters.

Initials are important
Patricia A - 1959
Teresa H - 1961
There is 1955 birth with the same combo of surnames. Have you ruled that one out?

Olive is/was Olive M

It wasn't until long after my father died that I learned that he had a brother, John Henry Thomas Parr 1898. He had a daughter, Olive Parr 1931. She married Alfred Stanley Rogers ABT 1921, they had two daughters Patricia A and Teresa H.

I'd like to contact either or both of them to try and find out more about my father's side of the family about which I know very little indeed. (I also know very little about my father's sister Ellen Jane Parr 1897, there's no trace I can find of the family in the C1911).

So far I have not found a probable marriage for either of them but there are plenty of possibles - too many to order certificates for all of them!

This is the first time I have tried to locate a living relation and I'd welcome some pointers to what to try next please.
