and the child has themself in two trees at this site

you have the child in your own tree Mark, plainly without that child's permission, which is against the rules of the site

your tree must contain thousands of names at this point

I strongly suggest you maintain it off line and not put living people in a tree at this site or anywhere on line without their consent

um, the mother seems to have herself in trees under 4 ... make that 5 ... accounts here at this website

Mark you have used the site for this long and posted so very many queries and you have not even used this actual site itself for yourself?

the only Doe births (father or mother's surname) in Southport ever were the mother and her brother, and the one child noted

possibly the couple adopted

I do think that when looking for info about people born as recently as the 1960s it is best to contact family members (and also for us not to speculate about private family matters) ... assuming that what is wanted is contact with the people about whom info is sought, and not just names to put in a family tree (which would be without their permission then and so should certainly never be made public)

Could the other two have been born before the marriage, in which case you would need to look for births with surname Doe and mother's maiden name Doe.

maybe you need to go back to the family member for more info
