Thank you all, it looks like I may have just found her through a mutual family friend of the family. I thank you all for the assistance you have provided and giving me the direction in which to look. We just hope we can make contact in time for her brother.

Again many thanks. GR is such a great place, and all the contributors are such wonderful people.

Regards
Vanessa

Would husband #2 have more up to date information? They may have mutual friends he could ask.

Ah well you see that info itself is important, since there is no point in searching for Beverley with a husband if she is not living with a husband. :-)

The reason I did not put Beverley 2 x husbands name in is because she is no longer married to either of them and I did not want to breach their privacy.

thanks Rose

maybe Vanessa you would put the useful info in the thread in future, and not give it only privately where others who might help can't see it?

Vanessa confirmed the husband was Alan, so it appears it could be the correct couple.

as mentioned, someone has Beverley in their tree here at genesreunited

also numerous people have other Kurths born in Bundaberg and it might be worth contacting them

about facebook messages - facebook has recently made changes that make messages more likely to be read

I've posted about it here:

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/genealogy_chat/thread/1356352

the Beverley Kurth born 1937 Brisbane is said here to have died 1992

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Kurth-8

don't know whether that is correct, but for into

Vanessa if you know Beverley's husband's name it would make an awful lot of sense to offer it here, since things like telephone and business listings for people of that generation are more often found under the husand's name ...

Hi

I e-mailed on Facebook and as I was trying to locate living relatives as I was doing family history, it took me a few years to find one of my cousins in Australia.

They might possibly receive the e-mail if you pay a small fee through Facebook.

I paid 61p and my cousin replied back to me immediately hope this helps.

The only thing about facebook is that if that person is not in your friends list, they are not notified of the message, and the message you send does not go into their regular message inbox.

Many people don't know they have extra messages unless they know to specifically look in the other inbox.

I think the one on Facebook was born in Brisbane in 1937.

Have you searched trees on here? Someone has her listed.

Is anyone out there in GR land able to assist me in locating BEVERLEY JOY FRASER formerly WOLFF (nee KURTH) Born 1 May 1954 in the Bundaberg area of Queensland. I am trying to locate her for my sister in law Heather and her brother Len. Len is currently in hospital and does not have a good prognosis

Does anyone have access to the current Australian electoral rolls that they may be able to look up for me, please??? I am unsure if Beverley still resides in Queensland.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated, many thanks in advance.
