I am related to Philip Hymovitch. Hyams is what it was changed to. My grandparents were Polly and Marks. Have all that info. Just can't find anything from Romania about them. As far as I have been told they came to the UK in 1900 and got married here ? mark over that. As I haven't been able to find any info on that at all. Can't even find out about their Romania roots. Her name before her marriage was Weiss.

Hi 'Unknown'...what helpers try and do on the thread is to find out as much as possible of the background of the people being looked for in order to work forward, no one who has posted is a relative.

Also search trees on here ( 'Search' top of page) for the names you have.

Thank you to everyone for all that info. But have already got all that about their my grandparents children etc. Have got the 9011 census. Also have managed to find uncles and aunts birth certificates etc. Philip Hyams or Hymovitch was my father. Have got some of the uncles spouses etc. Need to know if they had any family. Only know of five cousins and who their parents were. Mostly aunts family. Know my Uncle Harry Hyams had two girls. Know of one called Shirley. Anyone out there know of any others. Both grandparents as far as I know came from Jassy....now Iasi. Romania. But come to a full stop there to
