If you put in your grandmother's married name as the surname and her maiden name in the mother's name box you should be able to tell if she had any children with her first husband. Then do the same using her second married name and her maiden name to look for any children from her second marriage.

Go to freebmd.org.uk

and put in the surname of father and the maiden name of mother ( for births after 1911)

eg

Father's surname Keating mother's maiden name Fishlock that will show births to that couple or couples with the same names.

before 1911 the mother's maiden name won't show, but you may be able to work out the births by area, or from details on the census, or baptisms.

Welcome to the board btw, if you need some help to get going post some details of your grandmother. :-)
