Find Living Relatives

I am trying to find my sister Jean Marjory KANE born in Middleborough in 1942.
She is not Jean Peters who previous searchers on this site have found.
My older sister seems to remember that Jean joined a dance troupe in the 1960s called Bill and Bobby Irvine.

As you mention 'previous searchers' does this mean that you already have a thread about Jean?

Rather then start a new one, it would be better to add to the original. That way people can look back over the research and suggest alternatives.

Added - Billy and Bobbie Irvine seem to have been professional ballroom dancers. A brief internet search doesn't mention anything about a Troupe, but that doesn't mean to say your sister is wrong

after 1910, there are 3 Jean M Kane births and 4 Jean M Kane marriages

in one of your threads you said

'Trying to find my sister Jean Marjory Asbury. Married Norman E Asbury in 1974 in Birmingham.'

did you know this from purchasing the marriage certificate (to see the age and the father's name) or was this a guess?

have you ruled that out now?

Thank you for the research I have requested a copy of the marriage certificate to make sure that this is my Jeanand i will post if correct or not. Fingers crossed it is the correct one.

Which marriage cert. did you order?

Does her birthdate match with what I sent you?

When you order the certificate just use the middle initial and not Marjory. Her middle name seems to listed as Marjorie in the references I found. If you specify Marjory and it doesn't match you will not receive the certificate.

Thank you to all the researchers who have helped me. Yes I have now found my sister Jean (although deceased) and I am in contact with her family.
