There is also a record of a baptism of a Thomas, same parents, in 1789

Lincs PR's on FMP have a baptism on March 16th 1828 of a Jesse (born Mar 12), son of Barnard (Blacksmith) and Mary

And on 16th December 1843, baptism of MARK, son of Elizabeth, single woman

Barnard's sister Elizabeth was buried on 28th November 1959, aged 79

Mary Burton was buried on 8th November 1869, aged 78

If you don't have access to Parish Records on Genes or FindMyPast, have a play around on http://www.freereg.org.uk/
Lincolnshire has good coverage on this free site

Thankyou for the information. I put a message up for anyone searching as my friend had seen someone looking for the Burtons. My ancestor is Barnard and I do have most of info you posted, but there was more info I didn't have, thankyou for that. I haven't got round to putting Burton tree on yet, it used to be on then I had to re-start my GR page , so all was lost! Thanks again, regards, Sue
