Yes Harold is on my tree.
His father was Harry Smith, mother Sarah formally Denby, nee Lyalls
I don't know when Harold died, but I think it was in the 1980s
Derek Hankins was his cousin, the son of his half sister, Sarah

Have you put your father in your tree on here?

Have you looked to see whether anyone else has done so?

What was the nephew's name?

Who was Harold's father?

When did he die?

Thanks Jacqueline,
Harold Smith was my father. I never met him as my parents were divorced when I was about three years old.
I have two records of his going to Kenya, the second one with his wife Brenda. A nephew of his who Contacted me ( sadly died last year, and knew nothing about Harold' whereabouts ) gave me a copy of Harold's father's will which names his 4 children and gives their address in Howick NZ. I never met Harold's parents. :-(

Why do you think they had any children?

Are you related to either of these people?

Have you done any research? freebmd, for instance?

Search trees is the best place to start if you want to find connections on here

I am trying to contact the children of Harold and Brenda Smith, who lived in Howick New Zealand in the 1960s to 1980s. Harold was born in Wath on Dearne, South Yorkshire, England in 1922 and emigrated to NZ via Kenya or Tanzania . I'd appreciate any help! Thanks,
Gail
