Sorry but your enquiry is too vague

There's a line between giving too much personal info and not enough I,m afraid

Gordon Tetley might have fathered twins in 1988...was he aware that they were born?

Where? UK? somewhere else?

Did he pay maintainance? Up until when? If he did, presumably someone had an address for him- where was he then?

Was he married to the mother of the twins?

Ok so have you got his details from their marriage cert .

ie his age and fathers name . plus were any of the witnesses from his side.

You may have to go backwards to come forward ie find his birth, his parents names and did he have siblings etc.

dont think we can take a guess at anything you need some concrete info to start from

Did your mum give any family info about him that may help

If the twins registered in Wakefield are the correct ones then I can't find a marriage for the parents unless the mother had been previously married so that the marriage would be in her previous married name.

EDIT - have now found the marriage of parents. The mother HAD been married before.

Jacqueline Report 1 Jun 2015 12:39

Get a copy of the marriage cert...........as advised above

Why do you think he may have changed his name?

When did you last see him?

Jacqueline

Jacqueline Report 1 Jun 2015 12:46

There's a possible birth for the name on freebmd................

the most likely birth for Gordon, which I think is the one Jacqueline is referring to ... there are several other births with the same parents' surnames

have you ever looked for any of his brothers or sisters?

you can find the Gordon birth at freebmd at the link Jacqueline gave, and if you think it is him, search for births with the same parents' surnames, to get their names

can you explain what "gordon comma scott" means ... is "comma" a name? do you mean he changed his surname to Scott?

Have PM contact address for Gordon`s sister , she is married , and is confirmed
as correct person , because her brother in law who is GR Member, has her in maiden name and correct date of birth and her husband in his GR Tree .

The Leyland address is for another Gordon who has since died.

Possible you have half siblings?
