Hi, My Elliott family were the visitors to Susan Wohlman in 1891 Macclesfield St.
George Elliott, wife and children John William Elliott ( my Gt Grandfather) and Sarah.
John William Elliott married Elizabeth Alice Allen in 1909 and their son Charles R Elliott born 1920 married a Doris E Wohlman in 1939, Poplar. I believe they had a son poss( Charles J Elliott) born 1940, Epping.
Do you know anything about this side of the family? as they appear to have known each other for along time?

there is a birth for Baxter/Wohlman in the same reg district in 1943

maybe worth following up on

maybe the marriage ended sooner than WW2 and she remarried as Wohlman

Hi ,all,thank you all for your quick replies ,which seem to begin to tie in,my biggest problem is that according to family history,when Barnard and Winifred,s marriage ended during the ww2 she married an U.S.A \canadian military personnel and went to to one or the other!I ,abt. 1950 Beryl saw her father Bernard Lockyer to say goodbye as she was going to follow her mother,but here she seems to turn up in London ,regards Graham N.Z

Beryl appears to be on ER to 2006
