Initials can make a difference!

Betty Smith (no middle name)

There doesn't seem to be a Kathleen Short born after her parents marriage - could you check the year and for any middle initials please?

The parents, if they have died, might have done so after 2005/6. Later death aren't on line. Do you have their year of birth??

Try https://www.freeelectoralroll.co.uk/Electoral_Roll_Search.asp for Electoral Rolls - there are 2 entries for a Robert J Short in Yorkshire

If they have died since 2006, check to see if their Estates went to Probate.

Can anyone help me please. They were married in 1948 in sheffield. They lived in sheffield in 1985. They have a daughter Kathleen. Betty was smith before marriage.
I have check death records they are none for sheffield.
