Arthur's marriage produced TWO children

The son is on the ER to 2008

Eric's marriage produced FIVE

One of the sons is on the ER to 2008, another is on the ER to 2011

There's a lot you can do to help yourself to fill in the 'gaps'.

Look for births and follow-through on them.

The chances of your relatives seeing any of your posts are negligible - the number of people interested in family history is tiny.

You could have a very long wait if you don't take the initiative

Get copies of death certs for details of informants

Thank you everybody. I have details of all the births of my dad's siblings, along with marriage and deaths, but am hoping to find their offspring, my cousins and as they will be much older than me, their offspring who will still be living.
I will keep looking and keep the word out there on various research sites. I have contacted other tree members and am hopeful that something will turn up.
Again, many thanks.
Pat

Also worth looking at Ancestry there is a tree on there which gives some marriages for Jack's siblings ( might be your tree though?) and you could then look for births to the marriages.

How much research have you done ? Have you found the births ,census, and possible marriages

Welcome to the boards Patricia, have you searched trees yet ( top of page) as several members besides yourself have Jack and Alfred listed.

Take a look at search members trees. ,which is under the Search heading above the boards, to see if anyone is researching the family .

You can then try to make contact by clicking on the find out more box which will send the member an email

I am looking for any family related to Alfred John(1903), Arthur Percy (Sam) (1905), Lillian Rose(1908) or Eric Geoffrey (1910) Shurmer.

They were my (late) father's siblings, he was the youngest, Jack Empson Shurmer (1912).

I have never met any of them and would like to contact this side of my family to perhaps meet some and fill in family tree gaps for my children and grandchildren.

They are all from the Temple Guiting, Chipping Norton, Winchcombe, Woodstock, Notgrove area.
Many thanks
Pat (Littlewood)
