Still struggling to make contact, they were adopted at birth but don't know their adoptive names. Know birthdate,time,address,birth mother,but not name change

How long ago did you try to contact them, as that is a fairly recent membership number, so they should still have the same email address.

They are on Genes under Elizabeth or morag paterson or spittal, I've messaged them but they've not opened their messages,is thete anyway of contact at all,so frustrating seeing their names on here and they don't know about their birth family trying to contact them

Have you attempted to find their births on scotlandspeople, for a more accurate birth year?

Have you attempted to make contact with anyone on genes who might have them in their trees on here?

Have you contacted Scotlands Birthlink to see if they have put their names forward on their register for contact.

Birthlink can't discuss anything with you unless you are a family member with proof.

Hi,looking for twin sisters who were given up for adoption at birth in the mid 1940s in Edinburgh. Their birth names were Elizabeth and Mary Spittal or Paterson and I believe their names were changed to Fiona and Morag
Their bm was called Jean or Jeanie.
Thankyou, I'm hoping someone out there will know these sisters. X
