Patricia, you can still send a private message to Mark even if he is not still a paying member, and even if you stop paying for a subscription you will get notice of any private messages sent to you in future and will be able to reply to them

and there are enough people around to remind anyone who might happen to post in your thread here later to send a private message that as long as you keep your email address current in your account (gmail works perfectly for that), you will get the notice

but also click Watch This up at the top and you should also get notices of messages posted here (otherwise, you won't)

Since you didn't reply in Mark's own thread, I added this link to it.

This message is for Mark who, in March 2011 was searching for members of his family, specifically his great grandfather Patrick Nally.
My name is Patricia Davenport, my maiden name was Patricia McNally and, after reading carefully the information you posted I believe that my father was your grandfather Mark.
I found your information by chance when I went online to search for my brother whose name was William Patrick Mc Nally. Unfortunately I found he had died on May 1st 2014 (aged 75). That search somehow led me to Genesreunited where I saw your posts.
I am not exactly into family trees, rather I am interested in the people connected to my grandfather, my father, and my brother, who all seem to be, as you so aptly put it “rum ones“. I was aware that my brother Billy (William Patrick Mc Nally) fathered more children than he cared to be responsible for and it was part of the reason I disconnected with him. However, I did always wonder how those children fared. I also wondered about my own grandmother on my father’s side and my aunts and would appreciate any information on them.
