Welcome to the boards, Pamela.

Have you put your name on the adoption contact register, and in your tree on here?

Hi there, yes my name is on the register, and no to the tree, I have only just started with Genes reunited and have had a lot of problems with putting my tree on with gedcom, apparently Genes reunited are aware of the problem, I will have to wait for them to fix it. Thank you for your reply.

You can add him to your tree manually, rather than wait for the gedcom problems to be resolved.

Have you contacted the social services who handled the Adoption?

They can arrange for a letter from you to be added to his file. If he ever decides to access it, the letter will be waiting for him to read.
Every time you move, do the same thing.

Has his birth reg been transcribed yet on to http://www.freebmd.org.uk/search ? If so, add a Post'em to his entry with a dedicated email address such as @hotmail, @gmail or any other free ones you can think of.
If Paul or one of his relatives want to research his ancestors, that's one resource they may use.

Thanks for that Detective,
I have added a Postem, and will look into leaving a letter with social services although if Paul is looking for me and he has his birth certificate. then a quick look on facebook would find me, here's hoping :-)
