Susie Report 4 Jan 2015 16:02

I'm trying to trace the living relatives of the eldest son of my Great Grandfather Frederick John Clarke - the son's name was Frederick Thomas b. 1906 (known in the family as Nibby).

The other siblings are Bertram George b. 1908, Harold Edward b. 1909, Ivy Florence b. 1911, Ernest Reginald b. 1914, and my grandmother Grace Edna b. 1916.

I'd be most pleased to hear from you.

Many thanks.

Susie

Welcome to the boards Susie.

You failed to mention where he was born and the last record sighting you have of him.

Have you searched all member trees onthis site? If anyone has any of your family listed, send them a message to find out more.

Try looking for a marriage 20+ years after his birth. If there are numerous results in the expected geographical area, you may have to purchase the cert to infirm the name of his father.

Once the correct marriage ( if any) has been identified, look for births using the Combination of mothers maiden name and fathers surname.

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ is a free and easy site to use.
