I've pm'd the 2002 marriage in case it's related

If Christine/a was adopted she will be using her adoptive surname,,,,,which wont be Cope,

Gritty, i cannot find her marriage records. It's only bringing up people who got married long before. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I've looked on Facebook but the Christina Marie cope on there is from USA. I'll look at the marriage records and I'll try her name with her spouses surname and see if I can find her on Facebook that way.

Have you searched facebook? There's a Christina Marie Cope and several Christine Cope listed.

Also a 2002 marriage in Cheshire for a Christine M Cope

She's still not got back. If her membership has run out, will she still receive the email or will she never know about it?

Wow thank you ever so much Rose. I've just looked at the details in the marriage records and she married her spouse with the surname cope. She's also from the correct area, so it's definitely her. Thanks.

Thanks Rose, I'll find our grandparents names out tomorrow and put them on. I've put Christine and Victoria's names up now. Can you please do me a favour if possible? Could you please click on my family tree just to see if it's viewable please. I'm just worried that i might not of saved it properly. Again, thanks for your help.

If she was adopted before you were born she might now know you exist.

If she comes looking she will probably start with her parents or grandparents if they are listed in her adoption file. Make sure you have these names in your tree.

Ah, ok. Can't she contact me until i do that? When i tried to create a tree it let me fill out part of it & not the rest. It kept going off for some reason.

You need to add Victoria's name to your tree. If she come searching she can contact you.

I've not found her yet either. I've messaged Christine though so I'm waiting on her replying.

What about Victoria? Can she remember anything?

look in Search Members trees which is under the Search Heading above the boards

there is a Christine Cope born 1982 Salford who is/was a member

Click on her name and send her a message . even if she is no longer a member if her email is still the same she will receive your message and can reply

Edit : the GRO record of her birth has her as Christine NOT Christina so its a good bet that that member is her

if you know Joyces old address then you should be able to find her on the old electoral rolls, But you would need to access them through the main library for the area .

I believe they are only searchable by address so as you have that you should be able to find Joyce on them
