'A' Daniel Jeffries did marry a Jane Johnstone.

Unfortunately it looks as if his full name might be Walter Daniel Jeffries. If that was the case, then there are other possible marriages.

Similarly, if he did marry under his second Christian name, there are other options available.

This is one instance where the poster may need to purchase some Certs to either confirm or disprove some of the suggestions.

Sorry late in replying due to xmas time , but John James Walter Jeffries also went by the name Walter as on 1911 census,it confuses a few things as he also had a brother called Walter, Im sure its Daniel Walter Jeffries, and Miriam is his sister.I have a photo of Miriam. Needed to know if the 3 children of JJWJeffries, married .I couldn't find anything on BMD site, but most of the above does look correct.Many thanks and Happy New Year to you all

What leads you to believe that Walter Daniel Jeffries married a Johnston.

There is a marriage for a Daniel Jeffries to a Johnston in 1930........but did you notice the Jeffries/Hulican marriage I posted which took place in 1931?

Two children were born to the marriage...

A son Walter D and a daughter Miriam......(Coincidence?)

Hi Pricklyholly, yes I did see what you added,but I put Daniel married Jane not Walter, I will probably get MC, also yes a coincident about children..also confusing, thanks for your help :-D I wanted to know if any surviving children anywhere as we all share G G Grandparents, Matilda Price and Thomas Jeffries... As for Miriam Jeffries marrying a Mr King.. I found one son Brian, but cant find on electoral role :-(
