Trying to locate John and Glenys Smart
Last known living in Pixton Way, Forestdale, Croydon, CR0 9JE. in 2001
They visited Jenny Goldsworthy in Christchurch, New Zealand and
then we lost touch.
Want to catch up and swap more family history with them.
Can some-one please help?

There looks to be someone called karen who has Glenys in her tree maiden name Blancke

As you have compared family history, do you know where Glenys was born, and if they have any siblings, and whether their parents are still alive?

Do mutual ancestors show in your tree on here?

Could you say how you initially contacted them?

Thanks for the welcome Jax.
I thought they had moved as a letter I sent was returned a few years ago.
Since then other family matters have taken my time so now back researching.
They contacted me first through a researcher I met while I was visiting
Wellington National Archives here in NZ. back in about 2000 and then they visited from England to catch up with her family, I only met them for about 2 hours.
Haven't checked her out on the trees yet just thought I would post a message here on the off chance some-one may immediately know them.
That was going to be on my to do list for tomorrow will let you know if I have success.
Glenys was born here in NZ and it was more the ancestor history we compared at the time not the recent years of our lives.

Yvonne- did you read previous postings? Not sure where you're looking but I don't see them listed there after 2002/3

Marriage Glenys Blancke to John B was 1997, there is one on FB that looks a possible perhaps? went to high school in NZ but from the pics has obviously been in UK...maybe worth looking?

If you are looking at the free electoral roll..... It shows that the house in Croydon was sold in 2003 and 2007.... Plus John and Glenys are not listed after 2003 on 192.com/fmp

so no wonder I had trouble finding them
