Hi im trying to find my auntie usually called betty she is from the cummins family and the last living relative of my father any one who sees this please get back asap . :-(

Elizabeth F Cummins appears to have married a Carol Y(V?) Elliot in 1964, Camberwell.

Sue has many Cummins in her tree on here, not all with dates or places of birth.

Thought her grandparents might be Cummins/R?ck.

Hi thank you for your suggestions on working this site,haha,im new you know lol, elizabeth is commonly known as betty maiden name elliott her brother was thomas whom sadly is not with us any more hence trying to find his sister.there parents as far as aware where thomas joseph cummins and margaret reck from ireland really not knowing much more so all help is appreciated many thanks :-)

You have put that Elizabeth's maiden name is Elliott, you mean married name.

Do you know the name of the man that she married - was it really Carol?

Similarly, do you know the names of any of your cousins?

she was last seen uk .but her parents were both irish not knowing anything about them is what im hoping to find out and betty would know if she has since past away then dont really know were to start searching . :-)

WHEN was she last in contact with your family?

Have you tried using freebmd to find out if the marriage to Elliot produced any children?

Are you saying that you know for certain that all of Elizabeth's siblings are deceased?

And that all of the children they may have produced are also deceased?

Did she attend any of their funerals?

If you want to know about the parents, get a copy of one of the birth certs, so you will have their first names

They didn't - apparently - marry in England or Wales, so that line is of research is not an option which can be suggested

Elizabeth isn't old - only 72, if living.

She would be 78, but I agree, not old.

thank you for advice it is much appreciated by all of you .betty would prob be roughly 72yrs old .it was a family brought up with very strong religious beliefs.it finally and unfortunatly caused a separation of familys.it is very sad .im not knowing much on aunties fathers side of family other than what is on fathers birth details .i may have desendents in ireland and uk wich im not even aware of .but more so id like to find betty so i can find out about her brother .many thanks all.ive checked out so many sights and old address and even the salvation army :-)

ha it turns out my auntie was married to carol in camberwell in 1964 he was known as uncle carl .wow very happy it all fits .thank you all still looking but success even a little matters :-D

He is Carl the name has been mistranscribed.

If you check the actual GRO listing it is Carl

so sorry for sounding stupid but what is the gro listing . :-)

It's the actual page of GRO records that have been transcribed to the listings on Ancestry etc

When Carl ,s name was transcribed it was wrongly done and the error was missed .
