I am searching for an old school friend that left with her parents way back in the 60s. I live in NZ so its late here and Im just going to bed but will check in the morning for any replies. Hilary went as far as know as far as Freemantle and theres been no contact since. She was born in Wales. A lot of her school friends are searching for her for a reunion. She went to school in Brighton Thanks in anticipation.

If her birth reg is the one for Cardigan N, her mother's maiden name is the same as hers.

Unless a Parry married a Parry, might she have taken a step father's surname?

Do you know her parent's names as that might help track her down.
There is no Hilary Parry on the Naturalisation/Immigration records on http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/search/index.aspx but may be the year is outside their parameters.

Just checking - Brighton, Sussex, England or one of the Brightons in Australia?

If it was the Sussex one and one of her old friends can remember her address, it might be possible for someone local to check the historic ER. That at least would give you the names of adults in the household which could help with parental names.

Stating the obvious - have you checked all member trees on here?

OK - if you can't remember her parent's names, someone is going to have to check the historical ER.

Email The Keep to find out where they are stored
http://www.thekeep.info/about_us/contact-us/

Although they would do a look-up for you, they are likely to charge. It would be best if someone local (one of her school friends?) could go in person

Ancestry have on-line Australian ER to 1980. If we know their names we might be able to find her parents.
