Hi there, no the son was born in America, Jack emigrated to syracuse not sure what year though and to be honest we don't even know whether he came back to Manchester or not. I'm trying to find out on behalf of my cousin who lost touch with her dad, Patrick Gilligan for over 30 years, eventually found his whereabouts but he didn't want to know her as he'd remarried and has got children who know nothing about her existence. She now wants to find her uncle Jack who she hasn't had any contact with for over 40 years. Thanks for all your help.

Was the son born in Manchester? Cannot see any Patrick birth.

I think you need a little more information as to birth year of John, as there are going to be quite a few possibles, such as these deaths if he moved back to Manchester.

Hi there, this a long shot, but I'm looking for information of Jack/John Gilligan born around 1938 in Glenamaddy Co Galway. He moved over to Manchester with his parents Molly & Patrick and he had a brother also called Patrick. He married a lady called Carol and they went over to the states, syracuse in New York but think they may have returned to the UK though not sure. They also had a son called Patrick born around 1974.
