Hi, I am just looking for any information on Terence John Bradley. He was born around 1950 (give or take a few years) his Father was Victor Bradley, not sure who his Mother was. He got Married to Janet Green around 1970 in Newark Nottinghamshire (although I am not 100% sure on where they got married) and had two children to her Andrew Bradley and Robert Bradley my father. I am asking because I never really knew about this side of the family and my nonna died last year so I wouldn't know who to ask. I know either Victor or Terence were in the RAF and there is some kind of irish roots related to the family but I don't really know much.

Thanks, Sherita Bradle

The marriage is in Newark district in 1970, and can be found on free bmd:

Who is your nonna?

Do you know where Terence was born?

Thanks

My Nonna was Janet Green, and I have no idea where Terence was born.

Do you have any information on whether Victor or Terence John are still alive, or where and when either died?

Thanks

If we look for births of Terence J, and marriages of Victor, on free bmd, this is the only marriage that has surnames in common with births.

But marriage a long way from births (even though it is wartime)

Marriages Sep 1944
BRADLEY Victor C Smith St Albans 3a 2773

No, Terence left when his children were young. He could still be alive. Victor I think is dead, but I'm not sure. All I know is my nonna's mother is Ruby Kentfield and her Father is Albert Green, I'm not sure whether she was born abroad but if it was i think it was Singapore. She had a brother called David and got Married to Terence Bradley in 1970 Newark, Nottinghamshire. And Terence's Father is called Victor Bradley

Can't see a birth for Terrence Bradley mmn smith

The marriage cert of 1970 would give his age at marriage which may help

If his dad was RAF then maybe Terrence was born abroad

Shirley,

TeRence not TeRRence.

Birth in Wellington in 1951 - which is why I think it is not likely to be the correct marriage or birth, just the coincidence of lots of Smiths so bound to get that surname cropping up.

Birth and/or marriage abroad looks like a lot better suggestion.

I don't know if this is related, but on FMP there is a passenger list dated 1954 leaving Liverpool- destination Singapore.

These are the Bradley passengers

Mrs Freda Mabel Bradley age 28 Adress: Beaconside, Stafford
Miss Margaret Diane Bradley age 6 same address
Master Terence John Bradley age 3 same address
Master Anthony Arthur Bradley age 9 months same address

ADDED: and for your records Janet S Green, mother's maiden name Kentfield, was born in Maidenhead, Berkshire 1952

There is a birth for an Anthony A in Stafford, with mother's maiden name of Smith.

And that Terence J birth in 1951.

So perhaps parents married abroad, or lots of Smiths...

Anthony Bradley 1953 Stafford has his tree on here.
